2018 Art Explorer Activity Book Ages 8 – 10
As I mentioned on my blog months ago, I had an internship at the Columbus Museum in Columbus, Georgia to create content for an activity booklet for ages eight through ten. For this booklet, I toured the museum, picking out vital details and concepts that children that young should take away from art. Such ideas were shape and color, landscapes, statues, and creativity, as well as the history within some artwork. Picking out key elements and artwork, I crafted the drafts for what would become the 2018 Art Explorers Activity Booklet, which will be distributed in the Columbus Museum very soon!
I am immensely proud of my accomplishment to write for children so young and creating an activity booklet that they can enjoy. Although I never saw myself in the education realm, this internship was a marvelous opportunity for me. I’ve worked with the Columbus Museum’s Education Department before, but never on such a profound and creative level.
